Mohamed Salah has admitted he was not close with Sadio Mane during their time together at Liverpool, but said they always respected and were always professional with each other.

Mane and Salah were key figures for Jurgen Klopp’s side, forming a front three that has brought success to the club.

However, despite their shared success, Salah and Mane have often been linked with a lack of good rapport.

Speaking to French คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย, the Egyptian admitted in an interview that there was tension between them, but said that they were professional and it did not affect the team in any way.

“Yes, there was tension with Sadio,” Salah said. “But I must emphasize, we are professionals to the end. I don’t think it affects the team. It is normal for humans to have more demands. I understand that.

He is a competitive person. Off the pitch we are not that close. But we always respect each other.” A book published last year claimed there was a rift in the relationship between the pair, with Mane particularly feeling Salah was a selfish player.

Salah downplayed the rumours but insisted that he had provided Mane with the most assists. “I don’t care, people can think whatever they want, it’s their right. But I want everyone to remember that the one who has provided Mane the most assists is me. ” We can check the facts but it’s easier to say it like that, it becomes a headline. I know how it is.

” As long as it doesn’t exceed the bounds of respect then I have no problem with it. But that doesn’t mean the opinion is true. I know what I did, I have a clear conscience.”
