Leicester City are closing in on a new signing with the signing of Atalanta defender Caleb Okoli for a fee believed to be in the region of €15m including add-ons (£12.7m).
The 22-year-old was sent on loan to Frosinone by Atalanta last season, where he made 37 appearances in all competitions.
Announcing this, sports journalist Fabrizio Romano via X on Tuesday wrote, “Official, confirmed. Caleb Okoli joins Leicester City on €15m package deal from http://ufabet999.app Atalanta.”
Meanwhile, the new signing stated his excitement after the transfer.
His performances caught the eye of the Foxes and they are now closing in on a move to bolster their defence.

Okoli spent the previous season on loan at Frosinone, where he made 37 appearances.
Okoli has also represented Italy at youth level and made 14 appearances for their Under-21s.
He would become new boss Steve Cooper’s first signing as the Foxes look to secure their Premier League survival next season.
