Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has revealed that a new contract offer awaits him. But to decide his future at the end of the season
, the 22-year-old has spoken of a lack of playing time this season after just one league start. And with his contract expiring at the end of the season, his future remains unclear. the UFABET report
“There’s a new contract. But now my goal is to play football and play regularly. That’s my goal and that’s what I hoped for. But at the same time I’m at Arsenal, I love Arsenal,” Nketiah said.
Since signing a five-year contract at the age of 18, he’s been playing for the club. Just 85 games on all lists.
He was on loan at Leeds United for half of the 2019-20 season, making 17 appearances in the Championship and scoring three goals.
“I try to focus on the season until May and make sure it ends well. Then think about what’s the best opportunity for me to continue to develop.”
“I feel like I’m at a point where at 18 I signed a five-year contract, how many games did I start here? And was loaned out for 6 months and the rest have been with the team the whole time. I probably started about 30 matches in all
competitions. They are progressive and make sense. ‘What is the difference between us and those who played together in the U21s?'”
“I’m the captain and they have done more. It’s not that I look at them with hate. I’m happy with them But they got to the point how they felt confident and it was because of getting on the pitch and gaining experience
. For me, taking the next step and getting to the point that I think I can reach. I will have to consider playing more.”
Aside from Nketiah, another Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette, is out of contract this summer.
